Fifteen years ago, I never could have imagined where this journey would lead.

What started as a creative outlet while raising four young children and supporting my husband’s military career slowly grew into something much bigger than I ever expected. Through military moves, growing babies, soccer games, school events, and all the beautiful chaos of family life, photography became more than a business. It became a way to preserve the moments that matter most.

Over the last fifteen years as Simply Joyful Moments Photography, I’ve had the incredible privilege of serving hundreds of families throughout Columbus, Georgia and the surrounding areas. I’ve photographed newborns who are now teenagers, maternity clients who have returned with multiple babies, and families who have trusted me year after year to document their story.

As my business has grown, so has my vision.

As moms, we’re often the memory keepers of our families. We’re the ones taking the photos, organizing the schedules, and making sure everyone else is taken care of. My goal has always been to take as much of that stress off your plate as possible so you can focus on what matters most: being present with the people you love. I am so passionate about this and I hope you can feel how much this part of the experience means to me.
